Some people dream about success

While others, they wake up to reach it

As I’m glued to my seat, my kicks struggle to retreat

A struggle in my seat

It’s a struggle if I flea

I open up the book in front of my eyes try to feel it

But nothing soakin' in my mind I constantly hear rhythms

The rhythms in the music, the rhythms I be doing

I don’t do this for amusement, the movements set for proving

To understand the master plan yet I cannot consume it

There’s pressure to just do it, yo I’m blooming in this music

Distracting me, giving me two sides, the same like I’m congruent

Work ethic is not fluent see I try to get into it

I try to get into it but my efforts hit the losers

And if I hit the losers, I stay puzzled like a rubix

I choose this

Artistic lifestyle to raise my profile

But when I speak my dreams everybody just smiles

Pat me on my shoulder kindly phrasing that it’s over

But I’m always rollin' over on my bed

So I can sleep to dream

When I’m not sleeping

I’m thinking bout leaving

And telling you stories of life

When I am sleeping

Of where am I soaring tonight?
