I don’t want to be afraid when you call me

Late at night when I’m alone and not ready

Your voice is so far away, but still close to me

I wonder who’s out there laughing on their end of the line

I want to rest but my phone keeps on ringing

Who are you stranger and what do you want from me

I get so scared when the light won’t shine brightly

It’s so dark in my room and somebody must want me dead
