To my left a mountain stands

It’s been there since beginning

On my right the sea

It sounds so hard and unforgiving

Straight ahead the sun still shines

The sun that’s always giving

And right behind me lies a memory dead

But oh so living

Joanne she is still living here

And nothing seems to change

Except the trees, they’re taller now

And never stay the same

Always growing up one way

They always seem to go

I’ll tell you why they give us fruits

I’m quite a few years older now

But still feel young, so young

Twenty five, my life

Has really just begun

When I think of all the dreams

I’d love to dream as time moves on

For time, it waits for no man

Unspoilt by greed of man

Sweet life lived all around
