Hey dreaming of a time when I was so young

When my body ruled my brain, and my brain was like a theme-park of fun

Where all the rides are free

That ran on opportunity

That hit us in the face like the sunshine of eternity

And the people in this park they would laugh and they would play

And I could make them hang around or I could make them go away

But, I often sent them home so we could have all the rides to ourselves

I like the frris wheel, she like the dodgm cars

Oh but it took some time to realise

Some times to come to grips

With the fact that she did not exist

And I was only playing with myself

I was dreaming of a time where I could walk where big people walked

I was dreaming of a time when people’d listen when I would talk

But as we get to a place where my thoughts they don’t seem as small as they

once were

I’m working out, I’m working out people are turning their heads

When I wanna be heard
