Looking for that greener grass on the other side

It will sometimes fool you cause it ain’t what it seems

You’ve been here long enough to know what’s fake and what’s real

If you believe in what you’re doing

The poetry of life

Lost in the enchantment of your world

If you believe in what you’re saying

And your word is being the truth

You won’t be looking back, feeling bad

You’re doing it your way

Whatever you do, put yourself on you

Gotta keep your head when you’re down on the slide

Though dreams sometimes come true

You may have to fight for the right

Can’t be playing the fool when you’re feeling the snap at your heels
