Can you see it from your window?

Can you hear it in the haze?

There’s a static in the shadows.

There is sadness in your face.

On the towers and the telephone poles,

The crows moan when the wind blows.

On the surface it appeared as a dream.

I let the emptiness consume me.

I can tell you, there’s no meaning.

I continue on my way.

There is trouble finding purpose.

There’s a secret I can’t say.
