Old people got taken for a ride

Just out on the streets

Just for a few lousy coins

They get beat

Junks sharing and dumping

Their dirty needles on the streets

Young kids who’re just playing outside

Catch 'em in their feet

So, I just ask myself

Where is this country going to

Just tell me now

Where is this country going to?

Just to see this all makes me angry

It makes me wanna cry

I keep thinking what’s wrong with us

I keep asking why

But let me tell you know

It’s a dead end if we carry on this way

I refuse to watch society
