Sometimes these thoughts hurt while I’m fighting on the battlefront

I killed a soul today.

Gave my fucking heart away!

A dark root that I swallowed.

Hands shaking from the subconscious breaking

Pull yourself together in the storm, and I can do this on my own

It’s a 360 degree car crash with my head slamming in the dash

And a storm of glass rupturing in my face, while the metal collapses onto my

wings

I guess more than anything I got trapped with my wings cracking behind my back

With a shard I’ll strip clean!

You stole my honesty!

absorbed

I’m blowing up a storm so big!

Of emotions.

I feel so humiliated!

With tears to light the rain clouds!

And now your quiet?

Measured up on heart!
