Oh Sienna, he thinks that I don’t care because I don’t

Often times he calls for me in desperate ways and rails

Because I don’t have no time for him at all

Oh Sienna, caring’s just some train that you jump on

Holding on so long as you can

When you can no longer you jump off

The blues they come, they chastise me

With their filthy rags and a thousand screens

They say I ain’t got nobody at all

Lovers come and havoc hoe

Leave you with less with every blow

And so few ride off in the sun

Oh Sienna, a person’s promise pales compared to yours

My eyes well up and I contend, I might never love again

At least not in the ways I could before

Oh Sienna, how can they deny your radiant parts?

You torched my youth, you made me grey

I ain’t seen no change, but hey, we tried!

Let me lay it down on the living room floor:

Quit the party cold, but I miss it more

Thought we’d see the whole place turn around

But my heels they pivot, not the ground

If I ain’t dreaming, am I dead?

Your poetry still runs my head, na I ain’t got nobody at all
