but large regardless you grew

thin like a sapling rooted in yourself

You’ve had your time with mirrors

spent with your image backwards

up in your head spinning round and round

And with such green young boy dreams

sometimes silently I still call you my friend

And now the roof leaking

the outside becomes the in

you see the seasons repeat strong and slow

You see yourself in the moon

and wonder if it’s cartoon

from what I’ve seen so far it’s hard to say

And we’re so green inside our sleeves

growing, dieing, please let me become or go
