What is truth?

What is there for me to see?

Where is home?

What is there for me to be?

Will I know?

Are these answers I’ll receive?

Am I ready for what lies ahead?

Will everything fall in place?

With all that’s left behind me

Am I keeping pace?

My world is changing

When you’re young and hopeful

You want it all right then

And then you grow up thinking

Everything will all work out

And now you’re laying here

With nothing left to strive for

This life isn’t always perfect

So you keep forging on

Are you ready for what lies ahead?

Will everything fall in place?

With all that’s left behind you

What will you face?

You’re alone with nothing left

No one will hear you calling

A year older with nothing gained
