Dealing with today takes too much time

But I know this bird has flown

I don’t care if I get lonely

Because a flower needs to grow

I know the wind will take me

I know my seed’s been sown

I need time, yes I need time, to grow

I don’t ask you how you got here

But what I’m doing means so much to you

You might never understand me

But that’s the difference, between me and you

No I can’t give an explanation

That you could even understand

I’ll just keep chasing daydreams

And you can keep on chasing sand

I don’t know how to get there
