Curtain call, it’s the grand finale

Roll credits, it’s the last show

Been there done that, part of my itinerary

It’s over now, rejoice and be glad though

Taking the lessons with me, Memories for a little while

Reminisce from time to time, yeah I know its been a while

But I’m in a better place, towards better days

Pause, pray and meditate

Goodbye struggle, so long pain

Yeah, there’s a chance that I might see you again

But that’s okay though, I found a way to

See things in a different light like the greats do

See, every challenge is a chance to build a champion

Stumbling blocks are really stepping stones

Every test brings out a testimony

Learn from your defeat to write a better story

So it ain’t so bad after all

I guess I’m meant to go through it all, even the fall

So let me honor my past, then keep growing in the present

And maybe the future will be pleasant

Made me realize not to rely on my tendencies

So I stayed in the struggle, until growth

Learned that patience is an art form, its takes time and precision

To master it needs repetition

To fear less and love greatly

Be a blessing wherever you are, have you been lately

The past is my reminder that Im getting better everyday

Progress not perfection aim for 1% a day

And my past victories won’t guarantee my win today

And all the trophies will rust and dust either way

So I focus more on making memories and melodies
