The sinking towers in the middle of the night

The armies charge and the cannons fire

It forever attacks us crushing hand like a plier

Faceless a dream that never goes away

The walls a prison but the stuctures in decay

try to stand but the currents pulling down

the boot of progess as it stamps you to the ground

Face the past

Standing till the last

The reasons never work

And hit them were it hurts

Right now we bleed

crushed into dirt

you’re slapped in the face but you can’t understand

the power here is the hand of man

Survival is fleeting now your heads in a cage

The words had a meaning but they’re burning the page

You can’t recall what the world was like

When the image is fading dirt will cover the site

A sentinel will do the work
