He drives a van full of misery and pain.

He tries hard not to go insane.

In the shadow of his mind, there is a grey bird.

Squawking, chewing, biting, but not saying a word.

(Saltbird) He knows and so do you.

(Saltbird) Be ashamed of what you do.

(Saltbird) See him and start to cringe.

(Saltbird) Yes he wants revenge.

Tim, Tim, Tim, the gas station man,

Making love to a bird he found in a trash can.

Crying, whining, he tries to hide his shame.

He pretends to be normal;

but, he’s just not the same.

You live a life full of misery and shame.

You try hard not to show your name.

But, all the praying and crying won’t save you soul.

So, try a little harder to keep control.
