I’d like to thank my friends

For being my friends

It means a lot more to me than you’ll ever know

Think how different life would be If none of you were around to see me through

Bad as we all are, we’re good enough to show

It when we can and not worry when we don’t

I hope you have that same different feeling in your chest

From friendly favors done.

Communion time with smoke and wine

Make you want to listen, take for all is given

Think and dream and share your mental wealth

The world is out to get us, but it can’t

Because we’re friends,

And because we had a picnic.

And while we helped each other carry weight,

The storm, it went away.
