Oh dear God, I have become my own enemy at heart

The person I had always strived to be has fallen apart

My mouth is tired from running all these fucking complaints

Day after day I will sit here and wait until I see change

Myself, I am the only one who can turn this all around

I’ll put my past behind me and move along

I was once filled with fear

But fear is what got me here

Will you please take my hand and see

I’m not the only one who once was lost, to all of us

I stand here today, pleading all my faults

I will grow stronger;

we will grow stronger, together

I am reborn;

submerged in water

We all can swim, until we hit the bottom

The fearful hesitate in new surroundings
