Slowly Decaying - Curious

I’m sliding into helplessness

Though I tried to avoid

This kind of self-pity

That leads to nothing than more pain

I knew it well

But still make the same mistake

Hoping for love

I have to see the cruel truth

You are not the first

And won’t be the last

I’ve put my trust in you

But with every new disappointment

I’m losing a part of myself

Until my heart dissolves to dust

I’ve gone through this before

Sleepless nights in torture

Nevertheless I can’t tell my heart

What to feel or to desire

That’s why I have to cry

I’m drowning in my tears

There’s nothing else to do
