In between sleep and consciousness

In a state of stasis drains my energy,

The grey area where existence is smeared

Approaching the state of mind that is always feared

Lay me down to sleep, alone

Tug of war between the tenders of each flock

The black sheep elusive

The white, all-inclusive

There are no boarders

There aren’t any divisions

My world consists of elisions

Creation, precision

My mind like a sheep that strayed

Both shepherds, turn a blind eye

Nothing now but the sky

Trying to sleep was a Mistake
